Rusty!!!!

Yesterday was finally sunny so i decided to go for a quick round of nine at Gleneagles. Boy after 2 weeks of no golf i was rusty!!!!!

I played really really bad :(

I need to go back tomorrow and practice

Northlands

Waterfall at number 4Northlands is a beautiful course in North Vancouver. The course is very manicured and it is always in perfect condition. It is pretty elevated in the middle of a forest. The course require a great deal of accuracy being the fairways quite narrow and surrounded by thick forest. Every hole has different elevation. The course is challenging but quite fun to play. Often is possible to spot deers and other wildlife around the course.

Finally the sun

After a week of heavy rain the sun came out again. It could be a great day to go for 9 holes at Gleaneagles. It might be a bit soggy and wet but worth to try.

Great golfing day!!!

The golfing day, yesterday at Sandpiper, was simply amazing. The day was nice and sunny and the temperature quite mild. Allowed us to play a fun round of golf in the surrounding beauty of the fall colors. We were simply amazed by the ammount of salmons we were able to spot in the small stream that run thrugh some of the holes.  The salmons were attracting an amazing number of Bald Eagles that were fling above us while we played. All that contribuite to make a golf day an amazing experience. The only downside was the pace of play that was relatevly slow due to the groups in front of us that were taking a lot of time.Bald Eagle

Sunny fall day

Today is one of those perfect golfing day. We will go to Sandpiper for a great golf day. I’ll post some pictures tonight.

SandPiper

In my opinion this is one of the nicecest courses in BC lower mainland. The course is located in an ancient forest on the bank of the Harrison river. The view from most of the holes are simply breathtaking. The course is challanging but not too difficult. Golfers of any level can enjoy a round here.dscn1386-small.JPG

The staff is extremely friendly and that contributes to a great golfing experience.

Gabriola Island Golf Course

I really enjoyed playing this course. It is a rather challenging 9 holes course. It lies on the shore of a nice lake and the views from some of the holes really amazing. Be carefull at hole number 7 it could be tricky to identify which is the correct green. The staff at this course are really friendly and the atmosphere very welcoming.

A new golf course

I’m away for the week on Gabriola Island. There is a little 9 holes course here that i’m going to try today. I’ll post my comments about the course.
