Yesterday we had our end of the season tournament at Frasierview. Unfortunately the weather was really terrible. It rained really bad for most of the day. The course was well drained and not soggy, but the greens were in very bad conditions. Some of them had lot of water on and it was really difficult to put. In those conditions i didn’t expect a good game, and i didn’t have one either. I didn’t manage to win any of the skill contests. On the funny side i managed to have more bunker shots than anybody else. Despite the terrible weather conditions we  had lot of fun. Unfortunately now we have to wait till next spring for the new season to come.

Yesterday i played my weekly tournament at Langara. I had my best score of the season!!! I finished with a great 86!!! I started with a great birdie at number 1, another birdie at number 12. My putting was perfect!!! I only had a very bad 3 putts at number 9 but other than that i did pretty good. I’m really happy about the way i played and my score. It was a great way to close the season.

Today i went for  a quick round of nine at Gleneagles. It was lot of fun, the course wasn’t busy at all, and we were able to play pretty fast. Unfortunately the greens were in terrible conditions…. bumpy, dry, lots of ball marks, some bare spots… really bad. I was able to have some very good shots with my 5 wood and that made me very happy considering that i wasn’t able to use it for long time. Unfortunately my score wasn’t that good mostly due to the bad putting surfaces.

Yesterday we played our weekly tournament at Langara. The day was amazing, not a cloud in the sky, the course was in good shape, greens were a bit fast. My game was ok, i had some troubles with my driver. My irons were great, specially my pitching wedge that gave me some fantastic shots. My putter was not the best… i ended up scoring a 93, wich is a pretty good score, considering that i was playing with a nasty cold.

Yesterday we played Sandpiper again. The course was beautiful as usual, the weather couldn’t be better. My game started really bad, with some incredibly stupid shot till hole number 5. After that one it picked up pretty well and i was able to win the skin game that was going on in our group. Service at the course is the best i’ve ever experienced. The staff is great. We even got a refund, because we were entitle to have a special rate that we were not aware of. The guy at the pro-shop  not only gave us the special rate without us asking, but he even brought the money at our table while we are having lunch… I was unbelievably surprised by that gesture. That makes this course the one with probably the best customer service i’ve ever experienced!!! Thank you again Sandpiper for an amazing day of golfing.  http://www.sandpipergolfclub.com/golf/proto/sandpipergolfclub/

Yesterday i had my weekly tournament at langara. The weather was great and the course was in perfect shape. Not busy at all, and we were able to finish the round in 4 hours and 20 minutes. My game wasn’t the greatest… i seemed to have aiming problem. My final score was 95… could have been a bit better if i didn’t mess few holes. I had a bit of bad luck too with bunkers… i was in the bunker at number 4, than at number 9, again at number 12, again at 14 and at 17… so i had to practice my sand shots a lot.

Yesterday i went to play langara. My game was really terrible… for some reason i wasn’t able to focus. Around hole 13 i stopped counting my score… and all the sudden my game improved!!!! I was than able to par hole 16 with an amazing 5 wood from the fairway. I had a very difficult bunker shot at number 8 as you can see in the picture. I was able to get out from there… I still don’t know how i did it.
