Yesterday i played my usual wednesday golf at langara. My game wasn’t really good, driver didn’t start working till hole number 9, my irons were not so great but due to a terrific short game i managed to score a great 87! My putting was incredible, i was able to sink the ball from any distance most of the time. For that reason i was able to score a great 42 on the fron nine despite a double bogey at number 4.

Yesterday i played a round at Morgan Creek. The weather was spectacular, sunny and warm. The course in fantastic condition. My game wasn’t the greatest, my driver was working pretty well, other than a couple of holes, but my putting was really messy. I had 6 three putts that really hurt my score. I had really hard time reading the greens and get a good feeling of the speed. My final score was a terrible 103, that could have been much better if i didn’t have so many putting strokes.
Yesterday was a great sunny day and we started our weekly tournament at Langara. The course was in perfect condition and the greens were really good. Unfortunately my game was really bad. For some strange reason i wasn’t able to hit a decent drive till hole 15. That was pretty bad considering that monday at Westwood my driver was working great. I really struggled at hole number 4 where i hit my drive in the water and i totally lost my concentration, for the rest of the hole i wasn’t able to hit a decent shot!

Today we went to play westwood plateau. The weather was very cloudy when we started and we had some light rain around hole 9 and 10. It started raining again, very hard the last 2 holes. The course was not in very good conditions, lots of soggy area and some very dry patches on the greens. I believe that the snow last winter had a really bad impact on the course. My game wasn’t the greatest, i had some very good drives, but from the fairways i has some difficulties. I had a very good tee shot on number 12 the par 3 where i won the closest to the pin contest.
The service at the course is always fantastic, friendly and helpful staff. Not a bad deal either the price, 89.00 dollars including the cart, a bucket of balls for the range, a hat and continental breakfast.
Yesterday we played the first Wednesday golf of the season at langara. Unfortunately we were not able to finish the round due to a heavy rain that started when we were at hole 13. My game was alright, i had some good shot. My driver wasn’t working too well thought. The course was in good condition despite all the rain we had in the last couple of days.
Yesterday i had the pleasure to play Morgan Creek, in south Surrey. The course is really nice, great friendly service, pristine conditions. It is slightly challenging but not terribly challenging. There are lots of sand trapsm strategically placed, and water hazards that make the game quite fun.
My final score was 98 which is pretty good for a course i’ve never played before. I straggled a lot with my putting on my fron 9, mostly because i felt a bit rushed, on the back nine it was much better. On the back 9 my driver was really good as well. The irons from the fairways were really good for the all 18. I was in the sand quite a bit, as usual, but i always managed to get out pretty well. I was particularly happy of a 5 iron from a sand trap on number 7, a long par 5, that came out just perfect like it wasn’t even in the sand at all.
Only the weather wasn’t the best, it rained a bit between hole number 5 to 11, but overall wasn’t a heavy rain.
I definitely want to go back and play that course again.
